What we expect
- Applying your knowledge as Service Engineer in fault finding situations
- Servicing and maintaining escalator parts
- Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
- Repairing or replacing escalator parts
- Carrying out safety checks
- Maintaining stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
- Recommending parts and equipment that neds to be quoted or ordered to keep the escalator safe and compliant
- The need covers out of hours work on a pro rata basis
- The ability of the travel
- Plan and manage workload
- Attending call outs.
Who we are looking for
- You will have previous work experience as a service engineer
- NVQ L3 in Escalator Maintenance (or equivalent) qualification
- You will be able to work independently
- You will be extremely organised
- Must be able to take ownership of personal development
- You will have good problem-solving skills
- Self-Motivated, able to use own initiative to organise and priorities skills
- Must be detailed- oriented and be extremely accurate methodical
- You will be able to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
