TK Elevator is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Business Analyst Intern- Summer 2026 Internship in Atlanta, GA.

The Business Analyst Intern will support our Salesforce reporting, general reporting, and business analytics efforts. In this role, the intern will work closely with the development team and business stakeholders to gather requirements, document reporting and analytics needs, and help enhance data-driven insights across the organization. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in business analysis, Salesforce, data reporting, analytics, and real-world process improvement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Salesforce & General Reporting

  • Assist in gathering reporting requirements from various business lines and functional teams.
  • Help organize, catalog, and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and general reporting assets.
  • Support data and report generation tasks, including recurring and ad-hoc reports.
  • Validate reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with requirements.
  • Conduct basic data quality checks, troubleshoot discrepancies, and help improve data integrity.
  • Assist in optimizing existing reports for clarity, performance, and business value.

Business Analytics & Insights

  • Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Support the creation of simple visualizations, summaries, and insights to help stakeholders understand key business metrics.
  • Contribute to the development of KPI tracking, scorecards, and performance measurement tools.
  • Participate in discussions around data findings and improvement opportunities.

Business Analysis & Documentation

  • Apply analytical thinking to understand business needs and translate them into clear reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Document business needs, user stories, and acceptance criteria in a clear and organized format.
  • Participate in stakeholder and team meetings; take detailed notes and track action items.
  • Support the creation and updating of documentation for reports, dashboards, workflows, and related processes.
  • Assist in mapping data flows and documenting reporting logic where applicable.

Process Improvement

  • Contribute ideas to streamline reporting and analytics workflows.
  • Identify areas where automation, standardization, or simplification could add value.
  • Perform other related tasks that enhance data quality, reporting efficiency, and stakeholder understanding.

 

Who we are looking for

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, multitask, and follow through on assignments.
  • Comfortable working with data and learning new tools quickly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems (not required but a plus).
  • Experience with reporting, Excel, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Basic understanding of business analysis concepts, requirements gathering, or process mapping.
  • Exposure to SQL or other data querying tools is a bonus but not required.
