TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced AR Manager- Service/Repair in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for managing collection efforts for service and repair within assigned Regions to ensure that plan goals are exceeded, and the company’s business interests are protected.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees and monitors the collection efforts of assigned collection supervisors and associated collectors to ensure adherence to company protocols and collection goals are exceeded. Includes promoting prompt payment of outstanding invoices and other matters that will maximize cash flow.
- Reviews aging reports with supervisors and engages branch and regional management as needed to expedite resolution of outstanding payments. Includes participating in weekly branch and region accounts receivable meetings with collection supervisors, collectors, and branch and regional management. Includes calling on large and delinquent accounts when escalated and/or appropriate.
- Monitors the performance success of supervisors and collectors by engaging in the performance management process, holding employees accountable for meeting their goals, and rewarding and disciplining employees as necessary.
- Provides training and holds meetings with service and repair supervisors to review protocols and best practices.
- Approves credits and periodic hold lists.
- Supports the frontline collector, upon escalation, in discussing with a Branch Manager for the issuing of suspension of services notice (“Hold Letters”) and final demand letters to non-paying customers
- As requested by the frontline collector, collections supervisor or from legal, reviews legal packages for 3rd-party legal or collection agencies to ensure packages contain all necessary documentation to improve the company’s success rate in collecting outstanding payments.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, and five or more years’ experience in collections leadership role
- Elevator industry or service-related field experience
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
