What we expect

  • Assist in training of installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transport systems.
  • Engage in continuous learning to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Conduct both classroom-based and practical training sessions for elevator. technicians, covering topics such as electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, safety procedures, elevator codes, and preventative maintenance.
  • Evaluate the competency of trainees through written and practical tests, providing feedback and guidance to ensure they meet established standards. 
  • Offer ongoing mentorship and support to trainees, helping them develop their skills and confidence in the field. 
  • Continuously research and learn about new elevator technologies, safety regulations, and industry best practices to incorporate into training programs. 
  • Work closely with engineering teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure training programs align with company needs and objectives. 
  • Emphasize and enforce safety protocols throughout all training activities, ensuring trainees understand and adhere to relevant regulations. 
  • Extensive knowledge of elevator systems, including electrical and mechanical components, control systems, and safety devices. 
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a technical field. 
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and guide trainees in finding effective solution.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to instill a strong safety culture in trainees. 
  • Ability to adapt training methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of trainees. 

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a related technical field.
  • 8–10 years of experience as technical trainer.
  • Background of elevator industry is added advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Confidence speaking to large groups and leading workshops.
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects.
  • Experience in designing technical course content.
