What we expect
- Provide technical support for IoT devices and embedded systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in Linux-based embedded systems and other platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures and solutions.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of IoT devices in various environments.
- Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in IoT and embedded systems.
Who we are looking for
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and IoT communication standards (e.g., DHCP, HTTP, MQTT, CoAP).
- Experience with programming / scripting languages such as Perl, Python, shell scripts or similar.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting tools such as curl, strace, gdb, tcpdump, wireshark.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in embedded systems support, particularly in the IoT domain.
- Familiarity with other embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with IoT platforms and cloud services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT).
- Experience with C/C++ programming language.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for embedded systems.
- Certification in Linux or embedded systems (e.g., CompTIA Linux+, Embedded Linux)
