TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Manager- BI Data in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for managing the delivery of comprehensive Power BI solutions and ad-hoc analytics. This role requires a deep understanding of Power BI's capabilities and a passion for solving complex business problems through the lens of data. You will need expertise in the elevator industry, the full BI lifecycle: requirements gathering, data modeling, reporting, and data visualization.
This position plays a key role in the BI transformation and analysis inside the finance organization, being responsible for supporting leadership decision making needs by managing the development of insightful Power BI reports/dashboards and creating ad-hoc business analysis.
This role will provide support for our US Field operating unit, Canada Field Operations and Manufacturing, in addition to working closely with multiple team members from across the NA Field organization (e.g., Sales, Service Operations, NI/MOD Operations) and the NA Finance organization (e.g., Accounting, Financial Reporting, and FP&A) as well closely working with the IT Data Enablement organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of the Power deliverables
- Oversee daily workload management, including backlog reviews and prioritization of team tasks.
- Provide ongoing support to the team throughout the development lifecycle by removing obstacles and ensuring steady progress toward key objectives.
- Create and present ad-hoc business analysis in support of business leadership
- Mentor and coach BI developers and teammates, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Manage the delivery coordination of Power BI solutions that meet and exceed the needs of various business stakeholders. Note, this is a hands-on player/coach type of a role, hence involvement in designing and building complex BI solutions will be required
- Support the transformation from excel-based reporting to Power BI-based dashboard reporting, both replacing existing reports in Power BI and developing new reports from the ground up
- Enhance Power BI dashboards, both data model and overall design, to capture exceptions and help drive actionable insights
- Manage the work intake and prioritization across the team
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical needs, translating them into effective Power BI solutions
- Advocate for the adoption of Power BI and promote a data-driven culture. Support and host training programs, coaching, lunch-and-learns for end-users to maximize the use of Power BI and self-service analytics capabilities
- Rigorously test applications for functionality and data accuracy
- Troubleshoot and provide support to end-users, empowering them to better consume Power BI reports
- Develop training materials/guides to enhance customer experience and optimize Power BI usage
- Partner with the Data Enablement team to maintain and optimize our Data Warehouse and Data Lake structures, enabling Power BI dashboards and helping to prioritize data enablement steps. It will require working knowledge of data table structure, Azure data storage, SQL Server and Power BI connection options
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization efforts within the organization
- Provide 'hands-on', as needed project leadership on multiple projects as assigned
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT systems, reports and business processes within the organization
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration/Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Information Systems or similar field
- 5+ years progressive experience in data modelling, data analysis and reporting
- Proven track-record in leading BI projects
- Experience mentoring and coaching BI Developers
- Expert in Power BI.
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and project management skills
- MBA, Master Degree, preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, CRM, EPM Cloud or other financial reporting software

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, office location, etc.

Employees will receive 15 days of paid time off (PTO) per year. Employees will enjoy 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and 5 paid days of sick leave. Up to six weeks of paid parental leave will be available for use after successful completion of 90-days of full-time employment. Eligibility requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents.
