What we expect

The Role

  • Build relationships with customers, identify and develop new client areas via lead generation and prospecting.
  • Close profitable deals over a range of customer groups.
  • Achieve sales and revenue growth according to agreed targets.
  • Respond to quotation requests, tender enquiries, follow up and negotiate to close the sale.
  • Maximise exposure of products and service across targeted accounts and maintain robust sales pipeline.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans with clear objectives to increase market share.
  • Measure and communicate progress against monthly targets by accurate and timely reporting and forecasting to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Liaise with Regional Sales Manager in all aspects of service sales enquiries to ensure all work follows appropriate company practices.
  • Being commercial aware at all times.
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Travel required to visit clients

Who we are looking for

  • Literate and numerate to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • 1-year’s minimum experience in a customer service/sales role
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Competent in all Microsoft programmes, including Project and PowerPoint
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to self-assess
  • Ability to take ownership of personal development
