What we expect
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of multiple large domestic and international contracts from Sales Turnover through all subsequent processes up to and including final payment.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with clients, while focusing on Company's expected level of profitability from the contract.
- Accountable for project schedules, cost tracking of the contracts, customer invoicing, initiating and processing change orders, and financial reporting to management team.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation of our PBB and vendor-supplied ground support equipment at the jobsites. Manage and provide direction to auxiliary equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and our own field personnel.
- Assessment of vendor quotations and initiation of PO requisitions for auxiliary equipment, shipping, and installation subcontracts.
- Coordinate activities with airport/airline/general contractor management to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective completion of projects. This includes negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors, enforcing TKE safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining control of project cost and presenting these controls to all levels of Company management.
- Timely completion of organizational turn-over with technical requirements, job costing estimates, schedule requirements, and equipment supply requirements.
- Interface with TKAS management, multiple departments, client's representatives, major contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, etc. in a professional manner, whereby reflecting a positive image of TK Airport Solutions, Inc.
- Coordinate the troubleshooting and correction of technical problems or other customer issues that develop throughout the normal process of completing the project and turning it over to the Warranty department.
- As engineering changes develop, assist in implementation of changes and modifications on assigned projects and pursue associated costs if changes are driven by others.
- Responsible for negotiating and issuing Change Orders and obtaining proper approval and signatures from Clients and TK Airport Solutions, Inc.
- Responsible for high level of effective communication within and across departments, as well as all management levels.
- Support TKAS philosophy, goals, and objectives and champion the company’s safety culture.
- Participate in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safe work practices and maintaining a safety and clean work environment.
- Commitment to quality by meeting and exceeding our customer expectations and continuously improving our quality management system and their processes to create value for customers, employees and shareholders.
- Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork and innovation.
- Manage day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings.
Who we are looking for
Expert Know How/Knowledge:
- Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques.
- Proficient with MS Office, MS Project or other scheduling software.
- Demonstrated experience and success in management of projects, processes and high-level customer service.
- Experience with collaborating with multiple departments; manufacturing, field installation engineering, and sales.
- Knowledge/experience of heavy industry field and fluent in reading and interpreting drawing plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. Bi-lingual skills in English/Spanish a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed and/or work extended hours.
- Ability to read and understand financial reports.
- Possess strong discipline to provide accurate and timely data.
- Impeccable attention to detail, effective problem solving skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time – accurately, efficiently and effectively.

Expected (Educational) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
Expected Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
