What we expect

Who we are looking for

  • Become familiar with the Companys OH&S Management Systems
  • Act as Secretary of Branch / Department OHS Management Review Committee.
  • Prompt reporting for all incidents requiring medical attention, to the Branch/Department Manager and Zone Safety Manager.
  • Reporting all incidents/near miss within stipulated period as per regulations, without fail.
  • Reporting monthly Branch Safety Statistics, Environmental Data and Safety Performance Tracker in the prescribed format to Zone Safety Manager latest by 2nd day on every month.
  • Reporting own daily activities and functions to Zone Safety Manager on every Monday.
  • Preparing safety training plan in coordination with department heads covering all field employees and sub-contractor and their workers and execute OHS training as per given plan.
  • Implement, monitor and control the company's OHS Management System within Branch / Department, including OHS training of new employee for thorough job and safety instructions prior to field operations.
  • Retain and maintain Branch OH&S related documents, records, reports of training, meetings, accidents, inspections and employee safety files.
  • Coordinate, communicate and report all safety activities to Zone Safety Manager.
  • Review all Government inspection citations with Zone Safety Manager to determine the Company's response to the citations.
  • Perform regular job site visit to look into unsafe practices and conditions as required by RC/HQ regulations.
  • Ensure that each employee understands that a OH&S rules violation will not be tolerated.
  • Promptly complete and submit incident reports as required by RC- HQ regulations.
  • Verify emergency information is available to office and jobsite personnel.
  • Conduct minimum 25 nos. of site safety inspections per month/300 of site safety inspections per year to cover all major jobs, sub-contractors and response centre / route /depot under the branch.
  • Accompany BM, HODs, and other Branch OHS Management Review Committee members during site safety inspections.
  • Periodically review the safety rules (State Government and Company) in coordination with Branch Manager to see that they are kept meaningful, up-to-date and cover operating hazards
