What we expect

Reporting to the Head of Purchasing (HoP), you will oversee strategic sourcing and cross-functional projects within the Market Cluster South (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Africa).
Based in Milan, you will lead initiatives shared across the Market Cluster and the Europe–Africa Business Unit, supporting the strategic transformation of the Purchasing Department in Italy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic suppliers in Italy, conducting assessments, reviews, and regular meetings with key partners
  • Define framework agreements and supplier/subcontractor contracts
  • Lead strategic projects at the Market Cluster South level within the Italian market
  • Monitor and report purchasing-related KPIs
  • Ensure full compliance with Purchasing Standards and Subcontractor Standards

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields (other profiles may be considered)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in purchasing, contracting, and subcontractor management (preferred)
  • Strong, specialized, and up-to-date expertise in your area of responsibility
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Team-oriented mindset and collaborative working style
  • Proactivity and accountability
  • Strong organizational and smart-working skills
  • Excellent negotiation capabilities
  • Results- and customer-oriented approach
  • Ability to drive change within the organization
  • English proficiency: C1 level
  • Fluency in Italian
