Test Engineer I (Middleton)

What we expect
Support the manufacture of quality electronic products through the development and maintenance of electronic test equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Design test equipment for PC boards and control systems. Document test equipment designs using Microsoft Office and AutoCad.
- Research and purchase test equipment (Hi-pot testers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Develop computer automated test programs or ISO approved test procedures.
- Order equipment for test development (date acquisition hardware, vacuum fixtures, software, power supplies, etc.)
- Assemble and wire test equipment (drilling mounting holes, mounting hardware, labeling, wiring, etc.)
- Support Quality requests for test modifications and improvements.
- Train production employees to operate test equipment, and when necessary, help troubleshoot products in a production environment.
- Work with TKE vendors of electronics to help them establish testing.
- Troubleshoot problems with electronic circuitry, variable frequency drives, and elevator control systems.
- Provide assistance in resolving quality issues including field complaints and warranty issues.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field is required.
- Experience programming in one or more software languages: Lab-View, Visual Basic, C Sharp, Visual C++, Test Stand or similar software package.
- Design test equipment for PC boards and control systems. Document test equipment designs using Microsoft Office and AutoCad.
- Research and purchase test equipment (Hi-pot testers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
