The Business Unit Europe Africa is one of the largest of TK Elevator’s Business Units. Its Regional Business Support Center is in Dusseldorf, Germany, from where it coordinates activities in 20+ countries, as well a distributor network in Africa. This unit handles the sale, installation, servicing and modernization of elevators, escalators and moving walks. What we expect
As a Working Student in Occupational Safety & Health, you will support our internationally operating OSH team in the planning, coordination, and implementation of safety-related initiatives and projects across Europe & Africa.
- Supporting activities along the entire OSH value chain, from the collection and analysis of safety-related data to the preparation of preventive measures, follow-ups, and reporting
- Assisting in the maintenance, analysis, and further development of OSH documentation, standards, and guidelines
- Supporting the coordination and organization of safety trainings, awareness campaigns, and OSH initiatives
- Preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards related to occupational safety, health, and compliance topics
- Collaborating closely with OSH experts, HR colleagues, and managers across the region on joint projects and safety-related requests
- Supporting the administration and continuous improvement of OSH-related systems and tools (e.g. reporting tools, learning or documentation systems)
Who we are looking for
- You are currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology, or a comparable field
- You are available to support us for at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months
- Ideally, you have gained first practical experience in occupational safety, health, compliance, or related areas through internships or a working student position
- You have strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- An analytical, structured way of working as well as a high level of reliability and initiative distinguish you
- You have very good English skills (written and spoken); German skills are an advantage
