TK Elevator is currently seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant – Federal & State Income Tax in Atlanta, GA.

This role is responsible for assistance with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provisions, preparation of annual tax return workpaper packages, preparation of annual personal property tax packages and other tax related tasks with minimal direction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assistance with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provisions
• Assistance with preparation and filing of quarterly estimated Federal and state income tax payments
• Preparation of income tax return packages for paid tax preparers
• Review Federal, state and city income tax returns
• Respond to Federal, state and city income tax notices
• Preparation of income tax expense and cash flow budgets
• Research income tax issues and assist with income tax planning
• Support Income Tax audits thru compilation of information in response to information requests

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• BS Accounting or other relevant degree or equivalent experience
• 3-4 Years public accounting experience
• Mastery of tax accounting (IFRS knowledge a plus)
• Proficient in current Federal and State Corporate Income Tax Law
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of CCH AnswerConnect a plus
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP system, a plus
• Experience preparing and reviewing income tax provisions, Federal and state tax returns for corporations
• CPA License a plus
