What we expect
CORE TASKS:
1. Defect Identification and Analysis:
a. Identifying non-conforming products, analyzing defects, and recommending corrective actions.
b. Accurate inspection of the following parts to engineering drawings:
i. Raw material
ii. Fabricated Structural steel
iii. Electrical panels and parts
iv. Painted parts
v. Welded Structural Steel parts and finished goods
vi. Electrical Assemblies in finished goods
vii. Mechanical Assemblies in finished goods
c. Responsible for the operation of all mechanical inspection equipment, such as measuring tape, calipers, coating thickness gauge, radius gauge, protractor, and micrometer.
d. Initiate, track, coordinate and report quality issues in the NCR program (nonconformance reporting).
e. Responsible for in-process inspection of finished product staged for shipping.
f. Responsible liaison between Quality Control and Logistics (loading and unloading of goods)
2. Quality Standards and Procedures:
a. Ensuring adherence to established quality standards, procedures, and specifications.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
a. Analyzing inspection data, generating reports, and recommending improvements to quality processes.
4. Customer and Supplier Interaction:
a. Acting as a liaison with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters.
b. Responsible for visitation to suppliers to perform inspections of parts and assemblies as well as quality system audits and corrective action implementation audits.
5. Documentation:
a. Creating and maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation.

Who we are looking for
QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION HOLDER:
Expert Know How/Knowledge:
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• SAP experience and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings as well as blueprints
Expected (Educational) Qualifications:
• High School Graduate, with 2 years of college or technical school or equivalent work-related experience. ASQ and CWI Certifications preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance within a metal manufacturing environment; experience in quality systems, such as ISO 9001:2015.
• Experience in metal fabrication techniques and welding is required.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and industrial coating systems is required. Must possess excellent mathematical and mechanical aptitude
