TKE is currently on the hunt for an Associate Superintendent who enjoys solving problems and has a commitment to driving a culture of safety in operations.   

No elevator industry experience required, this is a unique entry point into an industry that is financially lucrative and stable with plenty of opportunity for professional growth and development. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for assisting with business operations so that the department functions in an efficient and cost-effective manner

• Follows up with contractors on service activities; participates in work coordination and scheduling
• Observe quality audits to ensure that route work is being completed efficiently and in a cost effective manner
• Coordinate with mechanics and Operations on what materials need to be ordered for service, repairs, and orders parts
• Uses accounting reports to review call backs. Includes providing feedback, data and reports to management
• Takes part and assists with safety training, including job site safety audits and inventory/ordering of safety supplies
• Provides technical input to sales staff on the scope of work and materials needed to bid repair work
• Provides feedback to service manager prior to field evaluations and performance ratings
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state and local elevator industry code requirements
• Maintains strong familiarity of company products by attending company training classes and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods. Includes working with regional field trainers
• Performs other duties as may be assigned

Education and Experience:

• General business knowledge preferred
• Two years of mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers
• Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with abstract and concrete variables
