TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Benefits Coordinator located in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative functions related to employee leaves of absence. Working closely with the Leave of Absence Specialist and third-party leave management vendors, this role ensures smooth processing, timely documentation, and positive employee experiences during leave events. This is a detail-oriented and process-driven role focused on coordination, compliance support, and employee communication.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Act as the administrative liaison between the company, employees, and the third-party leave administrator (TPA).
- Coordinate and track all leave of absence requests including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, parental, military, and personal leaves.
- Monitor leave status updates and ensure employee records in the HRIS are accurate and up to date.
- Send timely communications and reminders to employees and managers regarding leave start dates, return-to-work procedures, and required documentation.
- Support the Leave of Absence Specialist in identifying issues and following up with the TPA for case resolutions.
- Maintain confidential leave files and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and company policy.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding the status of their leave and general leave processes, escalating complex issues to the LOA Specialist.
- Help coordinate reasonable accommodations and return-to-work processes as needed.
- Ensure consistent application of leave policies and alignment with federal, state, and company guidelines.
- Processes monthly billing from insurance provider’s invoices. Review billing for accuracy and authorize payments.
- Process hours report to TPA to ensure accuracy of eligibility file.
- Other functions as requested.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, benefits, or administrative coordination; leave administration experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and basic HR compliance preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems and leave management platforms (e.g., Successfactors, Workday, ADP, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Professional, empathetic communication style and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience supporting multi-state or remote workforce leave processes.
- Familiarity with outsourced leave management models or third-party administrators.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, office location, etc.

Employees will receive 15 days of paid time off (PTO) per year. Employees will enjoy 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and 5 paid days of sick leave. Up to six weeks of paid parental leave will be available for use after successful completion of 90-days of full-time employment. Eligibility requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents.
