TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager in Atlanta, GA.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our aftermarket spare parts business responsible for identifying and executing growth opportunities by expanding external sales channels, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving profitable growth.  This role requires a proactive and results-driven leader with experience in B2B sales, account management, and market expansion strategies within the elevator industry or industrial spare parts sector.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for our aftermarket spare parts division to exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with distributors, independent service providers, and OEMs to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.

Business Development:

  • Build a strong pipeline by targeting elevator maintenance companies, facility management firms, and end users.
  • Expand the company’s market share by acquiring new customers and increasing sales to existing accounts.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform product offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in the elevator spare parts industry.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, customer incentives, and digital marketing strategies.

Customer Relationship:

  • Establish and maintain long term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings to represent the company and generate new leads.
  • Provide consultive solutions to customers' spare parts needs, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, providing regular forecasts and updates to senior leadership.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, opportunities, and deal progress.
  • Prepare quarterly sales reports with insights on performance, challenges, and action plans for continued growth.
  • Ensure alignment with customer service and operations teams to guarantee seamless order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.

Who we are looking for

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in aftermarket spare parts for elevators or similar industries (HVAC, escalators, industrial machinery, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of elevator components, spare parts, and maintenance cycles.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer insights to drive strategy.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Critical thinking skills using methodical ways to problem solve
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams, motivating and coaching others towards achieving results
  • Analytical thinking with ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations
  • Ability to handle changing business environments and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Negotiating skills to work with Customers and internal teams to achieve needed outcomes
