This is your chance to go beyond and impact the future of urban mobility. We are looking for talented people who want to start or develop their professional career with us.
With integrated cloud-based solutions such as our MAX platform, we embrace the full potential of digitalization, transforming ourselves into a digitally augmented company to make life easier, more efficient and more comfortable.
What we expect
We are seeking a specialized Domain Architect to lead the design and implementation of technology solutions for Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM), with a focus on enterprise Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems, machinery product and pricing data architecture, and configuration data modeling across CPQ, CRM, and ERP platforms. This role will also drive alignment with Configure-to-Order (CTO), Assemble-to-Order (ATO), and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) practices, optimizing the revenue journey for complex machinery products. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in CPQ, product configuration, and revenue systems, with a strong emphasis on the machinery industry.
Key Responsibilities
- CPQ Expertise: Architect and enhance enterprise CPQ systems (e.g., SAP CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Configit CPQ, Tacton CPQ) to support complex machinery product configuration, pricing, and quoting processes.
- Machinery Product & Pricing Data Architecture: Design and manage a robust data architecture for machinery products and pricing, ensuring accurate representation of components, assemblies, and cost structures across systems.
- Configuration Data Modeling: Develop and align configuration data models across CPQ, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and ERP (e.g., SAP) solutions to ensure consistency, scalability, and interoperability for machinery product offerings.
- CTO, ATO, ETO Practices: Implement and optimize Configure-to-Order (CTO), Assemble-to-Order (ATO), and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) workflows within CPQ and related systems, tailoring solutions to machinery manufacturing and sales requirements.
- Revenue Lifecycle Strategy: Create an architectural framework for the revenue lifecycle, integrating machinery-specific CPQ processes with lead-to-cash, order management, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless connectivity between CPQ, CRM, ERP, and manufacturing systems to support end-to-end revenue processes for machinery products.
- Revenue Optimization: Leverage CPQ and configuration data to enable dynamic pricing, modular product bundling, upselling and cross selling opportunities for product and service portfolios.
- Data Integrity: Build and maintain a unified data model to support real-time pricing, configuration accuracy, and compliance with revenue standards (e.g., ASC 606, IFRS 15).
- Technology Roadmap: Define a domain-specific roadmap for CPQ, configuration, and revenue tools, incorporating machinery product complexity and CTO/ATO/ETO practices.
- Process Automation: Automate revenue workflows (e.g., quote generation, order configuration, production handoff) using CPQ and configuration logic tailored to machinery products.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to align machinery product configurations, pricing rules, and revenue processes with business needs.
- Governance & Standards: Establish best practices for CPQ, product configuration, and pricing data architecture, ensuring scalability and alignment with enterprise standards.
Who we are looking for
- Experience:
- 7+ years in solution architecture or systems design, with at least 3+ years focused on enterprise CPQ, revenue lifecycle management, and machinery product configuration.
- Proven expertise in designing machinery product and pricing data architectures for CPQ, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience implementing CTO, ATO, and ETO practices in a manufacturing or machinery context.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of CPQ platforms (e.g., SAP CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Configit CPQ, Tacton CPQ) and their application to machinery product configuration and pricing.
- Expertise in configuration data modeling, including machinery-specific hierarchies, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and pricing structures.
- Proficiency in integrating CPQ with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP (e.g., SAP), and manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and data tools (e.g., SQL, ETL) to support configuration and pricing data.
- Domain Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of machinery product lifecycles, including design, configuration, pricing, and production processes.
- Strong grasp of CTO, ATO, and ETO methodologies and their application to revenue and manufacturing workflows.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition standards and their impact on machinery sales.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex machinery configuration and pricing challenges.
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset to align tactical solutions with enterprise goals.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications (Preferred): SAP CPQ certification, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Oracle CPQ Cloud Certification TOGAF, or machinery industry-specific credentials.
- Key Competencies:
- Mastery of enterprise CPQ and machinery product configuration in CTO/ATO/ETO contexts.
- Expertise in aligning pricing and configuration data across CPQ, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Ability to architect scalable solutions for complex machinery revenue processes.
- Passion for driving precision and efficiency in machinery revenue lifecycle management.
