Foreign Accounts Receivable Manager

What we expect
Role Description: In a context of rapid commercial expansion, the Foreign Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for credit management and financial relations with international customers. This key figure will ensure that credit policies are adhered to and financial risks are minimized, while maintaining positive relationships with customers. You will join a credit management team with whom you will collaborate on all aspects of credit management, from customer acceptance to any legal disputes. You will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Define the credit limits to be assigned to foreign customers and establish payment policies.
- Analyze financial reports and credit data to identify potential risks.
- Collaborate with sales teams to optimize credit policies.
- Manage relationships with credit agencies, financial institutions, and litigation lawyers.
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments, interact with customers proactively and solicit customers to avoid overdue situations; decide on negative situations involving financial and commercial management.
- Operate within the management system to ensure customer information is visible to all relevant business stakeholders.
- Develop new tools and implement strategies to improve both foreign and local credit management.
Who we are looking for
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in an international context.
- In-depth knowledge of credit management practices and international regulations related to foreign trade, payment methodologies, and related tax aspects.
- Knowledge of international payment instruments and insurance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent knowledge of English; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus
