TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for supporting the life cycle of the Shared Service workforce from candidacy of employment through career development and departure as necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Investigates Level one employee complaints. Reviews findings with management, and assists with follow up actions, including counseling, training and issue resolution. Comfortable providing feedback and guidance – with ability to determine when escalation is necessary.
- Acts as a direct liaison with shared service employees to efficiently and timely respond to internal customer inquiries regarding company policies and practices, benefits and work questions
- Reviews time and attendance files to ensure approvals are following company policy and local, state and federal laws. Maintains Timekeeping compliance support: ADP time audits, historical edits, employee issue resolution
- Administers various functions involving leave of absences, including system administration, communication with The Hartford, informing employees of their rights, return to work, ADA extensions and status of employment.
- Partners with recruitment on temporary employee labor in the shared service center. Responsible for all temporary employee onboarding, transitioning to full time or offboarding.
- Project support: Assist or own any special HR projects for the shared service center
- Support administration and/or development/revision of HR policies and procedures for the shared service center
- Employee file maintenance
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years relevant work experience in human resources with a strong employee relations background
- BA/BS college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
- Experience working with employee relations
- Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a constantly changing work environment
- Exhibits strong customer service and able to work with employees of all levels
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Organizational skills a must.
- Ability to build and maintain very effective relationships
