TK Elevator is seeking an Internal Communications Intern- Summer 2025 Internship in Atlanta, GA.
The intern will be responsible for assisting with helping with digital content management for internal communications, social media content development, supporting internal employee events and management of children-focused safety club.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist and support employee engagement programs
- Planning, coordinating and collaborating with team members on internal communications projects
- Responsible for interaction with TKE’s young Safety Ambassadors Club members, incl. email correspondence with parents, scheduling tours, packing & shipping gifts
- Planning and posting of internal messaging on digital screens throughout the Regional Business Support Center
- Create content regarding promotion and reporting on various projects and events
- Meet deadlines for project deliverables
- Recommend process improvements
- Gain valuable work experience and prepare for future career
- Other Day-to-day department responsibilities as assigned by supervisor and/or department head
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university studying one of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Communication, PR, Marketing, Corporate Impact
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus
- Fundamental knowledge of internal and external communications, the importance of branding as well as corporate social responsibility
- High level of self-motivation and good time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills essential for the role
