Material Master Data Specialist (d/​f/​m)

The Spare Parts Business Excellence (SPBE) program aims to optimize and digitalize supply chain processes.

In your role as Business Unit Europe Africa (BU EA) Master Data, you will be responsible for the management of the European spare parts repository, during the first phase of the implementation project, you will work in close relation with all European countries to create the Master Data in Global Master Data System (GMDS), then in the second phase you will be the responsible for its governance.

• You will create and modify Material Master Data (MMD) in SAP GMDS
• You will assist with Material Data gathering needs for various projects.
• You will lead the data enhancement at Business Unit level and verify the accuracy of data submitted by the business.
• You will interact with and guide businesses when they need Material Data.
• You will identify and share process improvement ideas.
• You will create queries in SAP and databases and generate reports for SAP data.
• You will monitor team email, in-house tools, and ServiceNow queues, and make sure requests are being processed within the team SLAs.
• You will participate in Data Quality reviews and corrections.
• You will work closely with other global MMD team members, business representatives, and Process Owners/Experts.
• You will work with business and functional groups to ensure compliance with data quality standards and policies.
• Use problem-solving skills to resolve MMD and process issues. 

• You have several years of professional experience in the area of Material Master Data.
• You have proven knowledge and experience of working with SAP ECC material master data transactions, tables, and fields; additional S/4 HANA knowledge.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications with expertise in Excel.
• You are willing to learn/understand more than just Material Master area
• You are keen on understanding Material Master impact to outside customers.
• You have excellent communication and negotiation skills that enable you to communicate effectively with stakeholders and resolve conflicts – especially in English. Additional language skills in Spanish, German or French are desirable.
