Who we are

The Business Unit Europe Africa is one of the largest of TK Elevator’s six Business Units. Its Regional Business Support Center is in Dusseldorf, Germany, from where it coordinates activities in 20+ countries, as well a distributor network in Africa. This unit handles the sale, installation, servicing and modernization of elevators, escalators and moving walks. In select markets, the portfolio also includes home lifts and the service of automatic doors. In the fiscal year 2023/2024 the Business Unit had about 14,000 employees and generated sales of around 2.5 billion euros. We have a position that could challenge you, pique your interest, and put your skills to the test.

What we expect

Be a part of developing new, competitive product technologies. We are looking for highly motivated colleagues who want to take an active role in determining the success of TK Elevator in Europe. The following responsibilities will be focal points of this new role:

· You will join the Product Management team as PMO (d/f/m) and support to drive the overall project management of our key transformation product programs within Europe. Among the main tasks of this role are:

- You will support the analysis of key topics and the synthesis of results to be presented to the C-level management for decision-making processes

- You will follow up and challenge the status updates and risk assessments from individual projects and synthesize to overall progress report

- You will oversee milestones of individual projects and monitor Product & Business-related projects trajectory including overall deadlines

- You will develop Action Plans into follow-up actions to track overall pressing points

- You support Product management in preparing Product review meetings (Jour Fixes, Decision Boards, Progress Committees, further documentation for senior management)

· You will steer the day-to-day product management related topics and identify critical adaptation needs (Scorecards, KPIs Dashboard, improvement actions…)

· You will provide expertise and best practices and act as a challenger for Project Leads & Project Managers

· You will act as sparring partner to the senior program management

· You will support activities for product success covering end to end product life cycle (from development conception until service) and for all lines of business (New Installations, Modernization & Service)

Who we are looking for

· You have an university degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable field

· You have at least 5 years of experience in various project management / PMO roles within a multinational corporation or in Consulting

· Experience in transformation or performance improvement practices gained in an in-house or management consultancy company is a plus

· You have proven experience of successfully managing complex cross-functional projects in an international context and have excellent knowledge in PMO practices

· You have strong project management skills and strong business acumen

· You are a strong communicator, who is willing and able to work with different stakeholders (including Senior Leadership Team) on an international level

· You have very good skills on Microsoft Office tools (especially PowerPoint and Excel)

· You are fluent in English, Spanish and German are a plus

· Experience in Product Development Project management, or Elevator Field or Sales Operations with strong project management background is a plus.
