What we expect
OVERALL POSITION PURPOSE:
Assist in providing and maintaining accurate and timely documentation related to warehouse receiving, bin location assignment and issuing SAP material in a cost-effective manner to assure completion of bridge to meet customer delivery date. Responsible for demonstrating high levels of proficiencies in SAP transactions related job functions. Additional responsibilities include assisting Warehouse supervisor in the daily activities associated with effective and efficient operation of the Department.
CORE TASKS:
- Assist Warehouse supervisor in providing a high level of competencies within all job functions in the department.
- Responsible for familiarization of SAP transactions related to receiving/unreceiving, issuing/un issuing and bin location assignment.
- Responsible for assisting the Warehouse supervisor in obtaining production schedule information planning department, and to schedule resources for picking and issuing material.
- Responsible for providing weekly relief for answering all incoming calls, per established schedule, as well as on an ‘as needed’ basis.
- Participate and add value as a member of the warehouse Department.
- Engages in effective communication within and across all departments.
- Participate in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safe work practices and maintaining a safety and clean work environment.
- Commitment to quality by meeting and exceeding our customer expectations and continuously improving our quality management system and their processes to create value for customers, employees, and shareholders.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Warehouse/Manufacturing office environment, working and walking around moving equipment and on concrete flooring.
QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION HOLDER:
Expert Know How/Knowledge:
- SAP experience and MS Office.
- Ability to read schematic drawings.
- Ability to identify inventory parts.
- Ability to provide professional level customer service.
- Possess strong discipline to provide accurate and timely data.
- Must be able to work independently, making sound decisions utilizing good judgement.
- Impeccable attention to detail, effective problem solving skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time – accurately, efficiently and effectively.
- Must be self-directed, professional and dependable.
