TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Person I- Forklift located in Olive Branch, MS.
Come be a part of TKE’s partially automatic material handling environment warehouse for Spare Parts. The Warehouse Worker – Forklift will be responsible for the workflows in the manual areas of receiving, picking, and packing/shipping. This position requires forklift, order picker, and reach truck skills as well as basic computer skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Accurately picks, packs, ships, and receives materials utilizing barcodes and RF scanner technology; all driven by software and computerized systems
- Operate a reach truck, order picker as well as a standard forklift using the proper PPE and fall arrest equipment. Other equipment operation may be required.
- Assembles kits for stocking purposes as required; this again requires barcoding and scanning with an attention to detail to avoid errors
- Processes customer returns for restock
- The receiving area requires palletizing and/or crating parts. Geo class knowledge is used to put away materials in a safe and organized manner. Some heavy lifting is involved.
- Banding and shrink-wrapping material is required for storage and shipment process.
- In the picking process individual labelling and scanning is required to disburse inventory correctly.
- Safely loading and unloading trucks for delivery and pick up using all PPE and dock safety equipment.
- Perform daily forklift check list and annual fall arrest equipment as required.
- Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion according to 6S standards; good housekeeping is paramount
- Promote a safety conscience work environment as we work towards zero safety incidents
- Ability to work together with all staff as a team.
- Assist in cycle counting inventory.
- Process, schedule and communicate LTL shipments and documentation to multiple carriers
- Performs other job duties as may be assigned

Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPEREINCE:
- Minimum - High School Diploma
- Must be able to pass a lift equipment certification
- Knowledge of elevator and escalator systems or work in a parts warehouse is a plus
- Working knowledge of computerized system or computer skills is required
- Knowledge in Warehouse Management System is a plus
- Software experience in Oracle is a plus
- Prior Warehousing experience using RF scanners is a plus
- Requires excellent dependability, the ability to multi-task and must work effectively without close supervision
- Demonstrated experience of working in a fast-paced and team-based environment
- Requires lifting parts weighting up to 50 pounds
- Self-motivation is a sought-after trait
- A proven record of consistent and fair enforcement of facility rules, policies, regulations

- Technical degree, preferred
- 1-year operating lifting equipment, preferred
