What we expect

We are looking for a highly organised and customer focused individual to join our Customer Care team. This role plays a key part in supporting our customers, field teams, and wider business by ensuring service activities are coordinated efficiently and administrative processes are completed accurately.

This is an office based role.

Monday - Friday: 6am - 14.00 (37.5 hours per week)

What you'll be doing
  • Providing excellent customer service via phone and email.
  • Handling customer enquiries and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinating and logging service activities using internal systems.
  • Supporting engineers and operational teams with administrative tasks.
  • Processing and maintaining customer, service, and contract information.
  • Managing documentation, reports, and records to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices.
  • Assisting with customer communications, including service updates and reports.
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to enquiries.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business to support service delivery.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Who we are looking for

We're looking for a motivated and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Essential requirements:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, service coordination, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience working with databases and internal systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.
  • Excellent organisational and document management skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • A positive, proactive, and professional approach to work.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Confident communicator who can engage with a wide range of stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using project management or scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.
  • Experience working within a service, operations, contact centre, or engineering support environment.
