What we expect
Documentation of Mitigations & Troubleshooting
- Assist in documenting the most common technical mitigations and solutions for embedded device issues.
- Help maintain a knowledge base of troubleshooting steps, diagnostic procedures, and frequently encountered problems.
- Support the creation and organization of guides for incident resolution, device rollouts, and integration processes.
- Prepare and update FAQs, quick reference sheets, and onboarding materials for embedded support.
Embedded Device Troubleshooting Support
- Help with initial analysis and basic troubleshooting of Linux-based embedded systems under supervision.
- Assist in gathering diagnostic data using tools such as curl, strace, gdb, tcpdump, and Wireshark.
- Support the team in tracking and reporting device issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Assist in checking traces in Azure Cloud.
- Participate in routine device rollouts and integration checks, ensuring documentation is updated accordingly.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with cross-functional, international teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Actively participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and the global DevOps community.
- Continuously learn about embedded systems, IoT protocols, and cloud integration best practices.
Who we are looking for
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and troubleshooting concepts.
- Interest in embedded systems, IoT protocols (DHCP, HTTP, MQTT, CoAP), and cloud integration.
- Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint) and ticketing systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for working with engineers and support teams.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
