What we expect
Your responsibilities
- Be involved in the transition of accounting processes from European entities to Hungary and actively shape a new SSC in Budapest
- Be involved in day-to-day operations in the following process areas (not exhaustive)
- Credit management
- Invoicing
- Incoming payment processing
- Collection management & dunning
- Customer disputes
- AR Closing and periodical activities
- Incoming cash forecasting on own portfolio
- Discover, evaluate and resolve issues
- Identify and actively work on process improvement opportunities
- Be adherent to agreed service levels, policies and procedures
- Engage in collaboration with the business and stakeholders to develop a professional relationship and gain in-depth insight into our diversified operations
- Be the ambassador of our organization towards our Customers
- Provide qualitative customer service
- Ensure that all process manuals/relevant work instructions are created and updated on a regular basis
- Coach and train junior team members
Who we are looking for
Your profile
- University degree in Economics or Finance with major in accounting or equivalent qualification
- 1+ years of experience in accounting (primarily AR)
- Very good understanding of the AR processes
- Continuous Improvement and Quality (CI&Q) mindset
- Strong customer orientation
- Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken), ideally Hungarian skills as well
- Very good knowledge of SAP FI
- Enthusiasm for establishing and ramping up a new Shared Service Center
- Ability/willingness to travel (2 to 6 weeks periods for knowledge transfer- when circumstances allow to do so)
- Self-starting attitude and ability to work independently
- Strong team-player
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and prioritize the right things at the right time
- Excellent communication skills
