Strategic Sourcing Manager electrical system

1. Leadership in Global High-Rise Platform Team:

- Collaborate with the global High-Rise elevator platform team to lead and drive the strategic sourcing initiatives for PCBAs and Electronics.

- Foster a cooperative approach in a challenging environment, adapting strategies to dynamic market conditions.

- Actively engage in risk assessment activities and mitigation strategies to ensure the resilience of the sourcing plan.

2. Sourcing Strategy Development and Execution:

- Define and execute the sourcing strategy aligning with overall targets for the high-rise platform, working closely with the global TK Elevator PSM Cluster Manager Electrics and Electronics.

- Ensure timely market entry for the platform, fostering continuous value contribution, and driving cost reduction

3. Comprehensive Market Analysis and Partner/Supplier Management:

- Conduct make/buy analysis, risk mapping, and mitigation strategies to leverage the full scope of supply markets and existing partners/suppliers.

- Identify potentials and take responsibility for substantial and sustainable supply chain cost reductions.

4. Supply Base Optimization:

- Consolidate the current supply base, balancing low-cost country and global sourcing to identify and engage with the right strategic partners.

5. Supplier-Driven Innovation Facilitation:

- Facilitate the full potential of supplier-driven innovation within the TK Elevator product development process.

6. Performance Measurement:

- Establish relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the measurement and improvement of performance in the PSM function.

7. Reporting Structure:

- Report directly to the Head of PSM and functionally to the Cluster Manager Electrics and Electronics of TK Elevator.

• University graduate with a Bachelor's degree or above.
• 10-12 years of tenure in purchasing, preferably within the elevator industry
• EMS management experience not only with elevator background, good understanding of PCBA cost structure, being familiar with tier-2 electronics components markets (active, passive, bare boards etc.)
• Strong track record in advanced/forward purchasing and experience in product development teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix-structured organization.
• Strong international communication and social skills coupled with a solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
• High level of engagement, flexibility, creativity, and reliability.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
