TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager located in Byhalia, MS.
TKE's EHS/Sustainability team is a trusted business partner, setting strategic direction and delivering effective, efficient services that embed health, safety, environment, security and corporate responsibility in sustainable business practices. The role reports to the Director of HSE/SA and located in Byhalia, MS. This highly visible role encompasses the contribution to improving Health, Safety and Environment performance and Corporate Responsibility in the newly constructed Byhalia manufacturing center and surrounding TKE locations. Supporting the business by applying in-depth knowledge to offer solutions and advice through delivery of TKE-wide performance improvement programs and/or Audit Program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Governance: Delivering and deploying HSE training, audit and TKE-Wide performance improvement programs to the Byhalia manufacturing center. Assure company compliance with all relevant Local, State, and Federal Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protections Agency (EPA) rules and regulations
- Metrics: Champion development of strategy to achieve TKE HSE/Sustainability objectives. Providing analysis of/ reporting of key performance indicators (KPI) within area of responsibility.
- Regulatory compliance: Contributing to assessing emerging trends and legislation in HSE and Sustainability. Communicates relevant information on legal requirements within area of expertise and geography.
- Risk management: Delivering compliance audit (as per TKE Audit Program) and supporting follow ups of improvement actions.
- Communication and engagement: Leading across functions and with business partners to raise awareness and drive performance, engages with internal and external stakeholders to build commitment and credibility for the HSE organization.
- Operational support: Contributing to driving behavioral change and continuous improvement through delivery of training and competence initiatives. Provide expert support with yearly HSE planning and execution. Supporting the sharing of best practice. Coordinating reporting on HSE performance in SAFETKE and supporting delivery of TKE audit program.
- Project management: Contributing to and/or plans and executes Health, Safety and Environment performance and Corporate Responsibility related projects. Developing and reporting on project objectives. Managing project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science or a related discipline
- Min 5 years demonstrated EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience implementing ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems
- A proven ability to implement innovative and sustainable cultural change
- Ability to coach and influence all levels of the organization as well as contract partners
- Flexible to work across 3 shifts and overtime as needed
- Ability to prioritize work, effectively handle multiple tasks, and possess sound reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
- Safety and environmental certifications a plus
- Strong computer and presentation skills
- CSP/ASP, CIH or equivalent, preferred
- Management of Change Practitioner, preferred

Up to six weeks of paid parental leave will be available for use after successful completion of 90-days of full-time employment. Eligibility requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents.
