TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner in our Ontario region based in Toronto (Kennedy & 401 area).

This HR professional will act as a strategic HR business partner to the Ontario regional leadership team to create, direct and implement the HR plans that support the cascaded business strategy. This professional will provide services to support human capital management, organization design, change management, talent management, recruiting, training & development, employee & labour relations, workforce diversity and performance management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes that align with the business strategy.
  • Forecast and plan the region’s talent pipeline requirements in collaboration with Region Leadership and other expertise. Execute talent strategies for development and succession planning
  • Act as HR expert for region in all people-related areas such as recruitment, talent management, performance management, compensation systems, organizational development, employee training, labor compliance, and employee relations.
  • Lead resolution on broad spectrum of employee relations issues including investigations, local and global reporting, and legal alignment. Present and review findings and/or recommendations with appropriate leaders and ownership of follow up actions.
  • Analyze and act on HR key performance indicators.
  • Practice change management by influencing organization design, roles & responsibilities along with supporting shifts to the future state.
  • Coach and train leaders on talent and performance management, including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 7 years relevant work experience in human resources with a strong recruiting, performance management, and employee & labour relations background and driving HR processes going through transformation
  • Strong HR Business Partner experience along with ability to conduct workplace investigations, workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, organizational change, employee & labor relations and performance management.
  • Degree from an accredited post-secondary institution in HR or a related field of study
  • Possess strong business acumen
  • Able to work in a matrix environment to influence and drive HR best practices across operations and varying organizational levels
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of all applicable laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, Teams, HRIS systems
  • Prior experience working with a multi-national organization is preferred
