TK Elevator is seeking a motivated Social Media Marketing Intern- Summer 2025 Internship in Atlanta, GA.
Through this internship opportunity, you will gain experience in Social Media Marketing, PR and Communications for a leading global industrial products provider. This position will work in a fast-paced team environment, gaining broad experience in various aspects of Social Marketing and Communications including: Content Design, PR, Events Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Support, and multi-channel campaigns.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support External Communications Manager and Director of Marketing team to support ongoing PR, Communications and Social Media campaigns
- Coordinate and assist External Communications and Marketing teams to develop and launch ongoing customer facing content and campaigns across multiple social and digital media channels
- Support copy writing and messaging for Social Media posts
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
- Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
- Create and distribute with External Communications Manager content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
- Support marketing team at live and online events
- Perform social media marketing research
- Assist on influencer campaign strategy
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital communications or related field such as advertising or Journalism
- 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing/social media marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests within a given project
- Passion and desire for learning and a proactive energy for getting things done
- Detail oriented and data-driven
- Strong technical aptitude
- Creative Thinker
- Impeccable oral and written communication skills
- Excellent internet research skills
- Mastery of major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Google+, etc
- Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, and X Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
- Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software
