TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Director, Business Transformation– Supply Chain and Manufacturing located in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive transformation strategy focused on enhancing operational efficiency, driving growth, and optimizing the manufacturing and supply chain processes across TK Elevator.
This role will partner with senior leadership to identify key opportunities for improvement, lead transformation initiatives, and oversee cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful project implementation. By focusing on process optimization, technology adoption, and change management, the Sr. Director, Business Transformation will play a critical role in achieving the company's strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Transformation Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead and manage the overall business transformation strategy within manufacturing and supply chain functions, ensuring alignment with TKE’s strategic goals.
- Utilize Hoshin Kanri methodologies to define, develop, and execute transformation roadmaps that drive alignment across the organization and support the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and best practices, including Smartsheets, to enhance operational efficiency and productivity in manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain to implement transformation initiatives that align with strategic objectives.
- Build strong relationships across the organization to promote alignment and facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members involved in transformation projects, particularly in adopting scaled agile methodologies
- Process Optimization & Risk Management:
- Analyze current manufacturing and supply chain processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for optimization using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
- Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles that may impede the success of transformation initiatives, ensuring proactive risk management and contingency planning.
- Change Management & Adoption:
- Implement the ADKAR change management framework to facilitate the successful adoption of transformation initiatives within manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement change management strategies that focus on awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement to ensure sustainable change.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and promote the smooth integration of new technologies and tools within the organization.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track the progress and impact of transformation initiatives, regularly updating stakeholders on key metrics and project status.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports on transformation outcomes, ensuring accountability to strategic targets.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure TKE remains competitive and innovative.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, business, engineering, or science disciplines preferred. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 7-10 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager leading multiple projects or large, business-wide transformational programs. Preferably in Hoshin Kanri led transformation planning set up.
- Experience in managing projects with global and/or cross-functional responsibility
- Documented experience in negotiating and resolving complex issues and risks
- Experience in estimating work efforts and/or resource capacity planning in a professional services environment
- Specific experience designing and leading the execution of internally-focused and externally-focused change/communications strategy
- Documented experience in negotiating and resolving complex issues and risks
- PMP certification, preferred
- Certification or professional knowledge of Smartsheets Project Management ad Resource Management modules, preferred
- Change Management (Any OCM Certification is desired), preferred
