What we expect
We are seeking an experienced IT Change Manager to lead the people-centric aspects of our Europe-Africa region. This role requires driving adoption and embedding new practices across our diverse cultural organization. This role will focus on people, process, and technology-driven change management using structured methodologies and best practices.
Reporting to the Global IT Change Manager, this position will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive change management plans to support the successful implementation of our IT solutions. The IT Change Manager will work closely with project teams, application leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless adoption and sustainable change.
Change Strategy Development and Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans that address the people, process, and technology aspects of the transformation.
- Plan, conduct and deliver Change impact Assessments with cross-functional groups of stakeholders relating to priority programs and projects. Use outcome of assessments to shape Change Management approach and plan.
- Lead the design and implementation of regional change initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project timelines.
New Ways of Working Implementation
- Identify and manage stakeholder relationships, in collaboration with our Project Managers, for programs and projects which have been identified as applicable and priority for Change Management expertise.
- Lead the development and implementation of new workflows and processes to support the adoption of the IT solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to teams in adapting to new ways of working and embedding them into daily practice.
- Measure the success of the new ways of working and provide feedback to the project teams.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop and deliver clear, consistent, and engaging communication plans to inform and educate stakeholders about the changes.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and focus groups to gather feedback and address concerns.
- Ability to foster and coach improvements to improved standards and quality from internal parties who don’t have a high level of ITIL or change management experience
- Building good working relationships with internal teams and third parties/vendors as required.
- Chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB), facilitating collaboration among stakeholders (engineers, facility managers, vendors) to review and authorise complex changes.
Training and Education
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to equip staff with the knowledge and skills required to effectively use the new IT solutions.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including user guides, online tutorials, and job aids.
- Coaching and mentoring of business teams through various tools for example, sharing experience and ideas on Change Management techniques.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Develop specific Change Analytics dashboards to aid project teams, steering groups and the business understand change issues and inform change delivery.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of change management activities, using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and address any resistance or challenges to change.
- Provide regular status reports to leadership, including lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
Who we are looking for
- Minimum 5 years plus proven experience as a Change Manager, with a strong track record of successfully leading multiple technology-driven change initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Change Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or similar for change tracking and workflow management.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing new ways of working to drive operational agility is essential for this position.
- Experience leading the change management aspects of multiple IT projects is required.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills (English) - verbal and written. English minimum level: B2.
- Located in Madrid
Desirable Criteria
- Change management certifications such as PROSCI, ACMP, ITIL, or Lean Six Sigma.
- Wide knowledge about ServiceNow modules and its configuration (any ServiceNow related certification will be a plus).
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, and systems.
- Experience working on an international environment.
- Experience in conducting trend analysis and identifying recurring issues.
