Responsible for independently handling new product development activities.

Improving, optimizing and maintaining standard product portfolio with the aid of SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD & Windchill PLM.

Creating a standard mechanical design, models based on information available in standard documentation, upfront discussion with experts for opinion, which results in an optimal solution.

Release designs, documentation and bill of material for production with a quality mindset.

Supporting internal customers by answering their technical questions like supply chain, sales, service, and project engineering.

Responsible for the mitigation of design risks.

Contribute to the development of the mechanical technical competence.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Working experience of 5-10 years and at least 3years in the similar industry and a strong interest in mechanics, problem-solving, production techniques and machinery.

Experience in 2D/3D CAD Modeling, detail Drawings, drawing standards & should be able to understand & create a Bill of material (BOM).

Knowledge of machine design & machine components, manufacturing processes (sheet metal- focus) & their limitations.
