As a Senior UX/UI Designer (d/f/m), you'll be essential to our global digital transformation journey—someone who rolls up their sleeves, goes the extra mile, and brings a pragmatic get-things-done attitude to bridging the physical and digital worlds through thoughtfully crafted interfaces. You'll join a collaborative, dynamic, and diverse team working in a truly international environment. Your work will focus on leading hands-on design across customer-facing products and internal platforms, owning user experience for our customer portal, and collaborating with product owners, engineering, data science, and operations to create solutions that make our customers successful and transform service efficiency for 20,000+ technicians.

- UX Strategy: Define and lead the UX vision across projects, ensuring products are user-centred, accessible and scaleable. [don’t make this too big… they need to be hands on.. not strategic bal bla- this is all with Anna and for our products so far relatively easy)
- UX/UI Design: Own the delivery of excellent user experiences and workflows from initial sketch through to implementation.
- Develop high quality wireframes, prototypes and visual designs that reflect TKE’s brand identity and enhance usefulness and usability of our products.
- User Research: Plan, design and execute user research, usability testing and data analysis to understand user’s needs, preferences and behaviours.
- Insights and Strategy: Analyse and interpret insights into compelling frameworks, workflows and ideas that inform design and architecture decisions. [don’t make research too big.. designers have a different udnerstandint typically before coming to our industry
- Design Systems: Consistently apply and contribute to the evolution of TKE’s design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across products.
- Collaboration: Partner with other designers, product managers and engineers to align design solutions with technical feasibility and business priorities.
- Thought Leadership: Guide and support other designers and engage with product owners to foster best practices in UX and UI.
- Innovation: Stay current of design trends, tools and emerging technologies to continuously improve the user experience.
- Stakeholder Management: Be a pragmatic hands-on advocate for the voice of the user in the development process working closely with business leaders and development teams.
Who we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio demonstrating strong digital product design in complex organizations.
- Batchelor’s degree minimum in Interaction Design, UX Design, Service Design or related field.
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite or InVision.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards and responsive design.
- Strong experience of designing and conducting user research and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Hands on – can do attitude
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to advocate for the user and influence stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in agile, cross functional product teams using Azure Dev Ops and Jira.
- Fluent, business level English
