- You will develop the software architecture while ensuring the scalability, performance and maintainability of the developed solutions.
- You will design, implement and verify hardware-related software in C++.
- You will solve software engineering issues in a cross-functional development team.
- You will develop decision papers and proposals for the project's internal steering committee .
- You carry out code reviews and ensure compliance with architectural specifications and promote best practice.
- You provide advice on the selection of technologies, frameworks and tools.
- You coordinate internal and external partners, suppliers and service providers.
- You work closely with product management to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- You coordinate the control platform including the connection of peripheral systems, actuators and sensors.

Professional requirements:

- Completed studies in the field of computer science/software engineering/mechatronics or a comparable course of study.
- Very good knowledge of software development with C++17.
- Extensive knowledge of modern software architectures, design patterns, frameworks and libraries.
- Experience in agile development methods and in using Atlassian Tool Chain tools required.
- Experience in system design with UML/SysML (PlantUML) and in requirements management.
- Experience with event-based programming.
- Extensive knowledge of Linux systems (x86-64/aarch64).
- Knowledge of the Debian Linux distribution.
- Extensive knowledge of fieldbus systems (CANopen / Modbus(TCP)).
- Knowledge of Ethernet communication (TCP/UDP/MQTT/...).
- Extensive knowledge of open source tools (gcc, clang, cmake, git, gdb, valgrind, gcov, doxygen).
- Knowledge and confident use of googletest.
- Knowledge in dealing with Docker build containers.
- Experience with Boost::SML desirable.
- Knowledge of elevator desirable.
- Experience with mechatronic systems desirable.
