We are seeking an Elevator Architect to join our R&D team and assist us in creating a standard global elevator product architecture, which includes the functional definition of modules and module interfaces.
You will be a member of the Global Product Architecture Team, which comprises system architecture methodology experts who coordinate and drive the creation of deliverables for the Modular Product Architecture Project.
You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders from R&D, PLM, PSM, MFG, and Field/Sales, as well as experts in all product areas, to standardize key module interfaces to minimize rework when module implementation changes.
You will also participate in the Product Architecture Update Process, which establishes the methodology and standard work for updating the architecture and standard interfaces.
This activity is a high priority for our company, as it will enable R&D efficiency and cost reduction for all elevator products.

We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation Leader to drive the quality assurance strategy and execution for our embedded systems and IoT solutions. This role involves overseeing automated testing frameworks, leading a team of QA engineers, and ensuring robust testing processes for embedded devices, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems, and cloud-integrated solutions. The QA Automation Leader will play a pivotal role in building scalable test automation pipelines, optimizing testing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Testing Leadership: Develop and lead the strategy for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, including the design, setup, and maintenance of HIL environments. Ensure these environments accurately simulate real-world hardware conditions, enabling thorough validation of embedded software.
• Quality Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation and quality assurance for embedded devices. Cultivate technical growth within the team by sharing expertise in test automation. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to achieve high-quality deliverables.
• Planning and Transparency: Track team progress and ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables. Maintain clear visibility into development activities, identify risks early, and adjust plans as needed to meet committed deadlines. Report progress and challenges to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Collaboration and Team Work: Work closely with the Technical Leader, Product Owner, other Component Leaders and stakeholders to align test automation with broader project goals.
• Quality Assurance and TDD: Promote and implement test-driven development (TDD) practices, code reviews, and continuous integration to maintain high standards for code reliability and robustness.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance development speed, quality, and efficiency. Champion Agile development practices, fostering transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
• Technical Documentation: Oversee the creation of comprehensive technical
documentation, ensuring that project details, design choices, and troubleshooting steps are accessible and well-documented.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in the IoT and embedded systems space. Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and systems.
Quem buscamos
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 7+ years’ experience in software testing
• 5+ years’ experience in test automation and frameworks
• Skills:
o Extensive hands-on experience with industry-standard test automation frameworks such as Cucumber and Robot Frameworks and tools such as Swagger, postman and Cypress with a focus on creating reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts for embedded systems.
o Strong proficiency in Python, with the ability to write complex test scripts, automate workflows, and develop custom tools for test automation. Knowledge of other scripting languages or programming languages (e.g., C/C++) is a plus.
o Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing HIL testing environments to simulate real-world hardware conditions.
o Practical experience with BDD using Gherkin and Behave to define and execute automated acceptance tests in collaboration with development teams.
o Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Skilled in automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
o Knowledge of various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, stress, security, integration, and system testing, with a focus on embedded devices and IoT systems including integration with cloud platforms communication with other devices.
o Up-to-date with the latest test automation tools, trends, and best practices with the ability to adopt and implement them effectively in the organization
o Skilled in tools like Jira, preferably with the XRay plugin, Azure DevOps for managing and reporting testing activities.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong ability to interact and align with stakeholders and technical leaders across the company, ensuring effective communication and shared understanding of project goals.
o Proven ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment, always working as a team player and actively supporting colleagues and driving collective success.
o Highly collaborative with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
o Clear and effective communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, managing multiple priorities and adjusting to shifting requirements.
• Language:
o Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
• Embedded devices testing on Linux operating system and raspberry pi environments
• Basic C or C++ programming knowledge
• Experience working in a global environment with cross-functional teams.
• Background in digital transformation, connectivity solutions, or IoT in the industrial or building automation sector.
