What we expect
- Serve as a go-to expert for Billing related topics, providing guidance to internal teams
- Assisting in the billing activities of the 5 Eastern European (EE) countries in the team, with special focus on Poland and Croatia
- Assist to resolve the customer disputes with credit notes or amendment on the documents
- Assist in the process and reconciliation of account receivables and remittances
- Help in performing periodic audits of the general ledger and company financial documents
- Resolve system issues in cooperation with SMI and SAP consultants in India / China
- Update and support to enhance continuously the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) document
- Proactively take part in process improvement and standardization initiatives
- Take ownership and lead future Billing related projects
- Take ownership of the training tasks of new colleagues and help with the integration of new team members
- Build a good relationship with the local organizations / cooperate to improve the billing quality
- Communicate with our business partners, internal operations, finance functions at highest professional standards
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Treasury teams to resolve disputes and payment issues
- Full back up of supervisor in case of holidays or sick leaves in tasks and decision making
Who we are looking for
- At least 2 years of accounting experience in a senior role
- Completed studies in Finance
- Fluency in English and in Hungarian is a must and other Eastern European language skill is an advantage;
- Advanced MS Office user, especially in Excel
- Experience with SAP
- Can handle complex billing tasks
- Open to understand and respect different cultures from the Eastern Europe countries (Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Czech, Poland)
- Good team player
- Attention to details; excellent time management skills

Additional information
Our billing team currently supports five Eastern European countries and consists of six Billing Specialists/SMEs and one Team Lead. We are now looking for an experienced Senior colleague to join the team.
