What we expect
- Supervise and support a team of elevator service technicians in performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Schedule and prioritize service calls, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Conduct site visits to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians on complex repairs or escalated issues.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, building codes, and manufacturer specifications.
- Monitor technician productivity, job completion, and adherence to timelines.
- Train new hires and conduct regular skills assessments for team members.
- Maintain service records, equipment logs, and performance reports.
- Liaise with customers to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure service excellence.
- Collaborate with management on resource planning, inventory needs, and workflow improvements.
Who we are looking for
- Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in elevator technology is preferred.
- Valid Elevator Mechanic License (as per local/state regulations).
- 5+ years of experience in elevator service/repair, including leadership or supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of elevator systems (mechanical, electrical, and control systems).
- Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ASME A17.1) and inspection protocols.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and service documentation.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service management software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
