What we expect
Your responsibilities
- You will work directly with the European P2P Process Owner on purchase-to-pay projects in the BU EA domain, analyzing and defining requirements and deploying technical solutions based on the new process standards.
- Takes responsibility for the management of and successful execution of medium to large, high-profile finance transformation projects that may span across multiple business units and areas.
- As part of your role, you will lead meetings with the senior business and technical leaders. These meetings will aim to identify and collect requirements using a structured framework.
- Maintains active communication with partners and stakeholders to manage expectations regarding system changes and the introduction of new and enhanced functionalities.
- Build the business case for new or revised proposed initiatives, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive and risk analysis, industry best practices, and development timelines.
- You guide the business through a project's lifecycle, support the blueprinting process, gather requirements, and lead design workshops leveraging best practices.
- You play a vital role in developing integrated, scalable, and process-oriented solutions that adhere to industry best practices, regional or global.
- Evaluate potential risks in proposed/active projects and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring continuity of service and minimizing disruptions.
- Develop mutually beneficial relationships with selected technologies and leading vendors along an informed and well-defined roadmap to meet the company's objectives.
Who we are looking for
Your profile
- College/University degree in Economics or Finance with a major in accounting or equivalent qualification is preferable.
- +5 years as an expert in at least one or two end-to-end processes for Financial Shared Services is preferable. For example, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Master Data Management
- +2 years of experience in system implementations in the finance domain, is preferable.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial concepts (accounting, finance, and economics) and the ability to apply them to practical situations
- Project management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and exhibit effective time management with minimal supervision are a must
- Outstanding communications skills and Agile methodologies with a collaborative, team-based leadership style .
- Advanced Excel skills, with working knowledge of PowerPoint
- Working experience with large ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Strong communication skills in English, German, and other European languages are a plus.
