TK Elevator is seeking a skilled Project Manager- IT IV to support strategic initiatives within our North American Business Transformation team.

This role requires experience in both Agile and traditional project management methodologies, ensuring successful project execution in a hybrid delivery environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, adept at managing cross-functional teams, and comfortable leading projects using either Agile or Waterfall approaches as appropriate. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for project planning, financial tracking, risk and issue management, and stakeholder engagement.

This position will work closely with IT Delivery teams to support strategic initiatives and align business priorities with execution through structured methodologies, including Hoshin Kanri strategic planning, ensuring visibility into progress, dependencies, and key milestones.

ESEENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead and manage projects utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches based on project needs.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Oversee project governance, tracking progress against scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to ensure alignment.
  • Provide clear project updates, synthesizing key issues and recommended actions for leadership.

Agile & Traditional Delivery Methodologies

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies where applicable (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, etc.).
  • Support teams in adopting Agile best practices while maintaining flexibility in methodology application.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Leaders to refine project priorities.
  • Drive structured change adoption using recognized methodologies (e.g., ADKAR).

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Communicate effectively with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
  • Ensure strategic initiatives are translated into actionable execution plans.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and process optimization.

Who we are looking for

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM) preferred.
  • Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, with exposure to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, as well as traditional project management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Smartsheets, or similar platforms).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective stakeholder communication and relationship management.
  • Experience with risk mitigation and issue resolution.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to synthesize information and present key insights to leadership.
  • SAFe certifications (SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Familiarity with portfolio and strategic planning methodologies.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation projects.
  • Experience with Hoshin Kanri strategic planning methodologies.
